With the upcoming rain chances, Kindergarten practiced our flood drill procedures. They had to remove their socks and shoes, stand on their chairs, and hike their pants up to their knees to keep dry!

Ninas Family Fundraiser

4th grade used fractions this morning to make nutritious snacks. They had to practice multiplying and adding fractions to have the correct serving size!

Thank you to the Union Star volunteer Fire Department. Terry Workman and Doug Howard came and talked to the 6th graders about fire safety, having a plan in case of a house fire, and what all they carried on their trucks for our Junior Deputy program!

Union Star R-2 will not be in session tomorrow, Monday, March 16th due to inclement weather.

Second graders recently completed an exciting project! Working with partners, students created their own survey questions and response choices. They then visited another elementary classroom to collect real data from their peers. After gathering their results, students organized the information and created bar graphs to represent their data.
